Common Questions

  • What are your business hours?

The Specialist Suites are open from 8 am to 5 pm on business days. Dr Mwaturura is available for consultation on Tuesdays.

  • Where is your main office?

Our location is at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. The specialist suites are in the first building on the hospital grounds, located on the right as one drives in, with a parking lot reserved specifically for people visiting the specialist suites outside the entrance to the building.

  • Can I Bring a Friend or Family?

We encourage a friend or family member to accompany you on your surgeon consultation. If your family or friends can better understand your condition and treatment, they can also provide suitable help if and when required.

  • Non Surgical Options

When surgery is recommended, it is often the best treatment based on the evidence available.

When considering surgery, both you and Dr Mwaturura will balance the risk of surgery against the risk of not having surgery.

There may be multiple other treatments available, and your own circumstances may mean you prefer not to have surgery.

  • Can I Bring My Child?

Whilst we all love children, in the interest of health and safety, children cannot accompany patients in the treatment rooms or be supervised by staff.

    Thank you for your understanding.

  • How Long is a First Visit?

The first appointment will last about 30 minutes.

  • Patient Support

It’s common to be nervous or have questions or doubts before a treatment.

It is hard for Dr Mwaturura to allay your fears or reassure you if you keep your thoughts to yourself.

We encourage you to seek clarification before you leave the clinic and will take time to explain the treatment options available.
